Lead Technician - Welcome Home Living, Pittsford, NY 14534

Welcome Home Living is looking to hire a knowledgeable, well versed and open individual to join our team.  We are a technology design company that works in high-end residential homes, providing our clients with all of their audio/video, security and networking needs.  We are looking for a lead technician who can maintain our high standards of quality in the field and who can work well with others to help support an efficient and happy work environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Installation of low-voltage wires 
• Mounting tv's
• Installation of a variety of speakers (In-ceiling, In-wall, Invisible speakers, speakers in tone cases, etc.)
• Installation of audio/video equipment
• Installation of security cameras & doorbells
• Installation and programming of Network equipment
• Building large scale equipment racks and managing wires for functionality and aesthetics
• Installation of motorized shades and motorized tv lifts
• Installation of low voltage lighting systems
• Programming lighting & shade systems (Lutron)
• Configuration of systems

Must have at least 5 years of experience in the industry.  Familiarity with Lutron, Sonos, Sony, Samsung, Audio Control, URC and Ubiquiti is preferred.  Must be able to follow specific directions and meet high standards for installation.  Must also be able to pass a background check and sign an NDA.  (Will not hire without both.)

Also must be good at communication, a hard worker, focused, willing to learn and have great etiquette skills with people.

Training classes will be provided and required as part of the position.
