Job Summary
Exhibiting a meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of organizational proficiency, the Electronic Systems Technician II (EST II) undertakes the installation, programming, and maintenance of a comprehensive range of AV and technology solutions. This encompasses the implementation and management of control systems, integrated whole-house audio and video systems, advanced security systems, and meticulously designed structured cable networks.

Conduct the precise and efficient pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing of cables that interconnect audio, video, data, security, and control equipment.
Proficiently handling tasks involving the running, fishing, and termination of low voltage wiring.
Safely execute the installation of displays, mounts, speakers, cameras, and equipment, employing various methods such as in-wall installations, mounting to structures, and ceiling mounting techniques.
Demonstrate familiarity with the setup and programming of automation/control, security, and network systems.
Possess proficient time management and meticulous documentation skills.
Provide valuable assistance in the comprehensive system commissioning process, encompassing thorough testing, and conducting training walk-through sessions with clients.
Ensure upkeep of fleet vehicles, stock inventory, and adhere to scheduled maintenance tasks as required.
Conduct advanced troubleshooting of AV systems, data infrastructure, security systems, and control equipment.
Actively engage in the on-call service rotation on an as-needed basis.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The Electronic Systems Technician II (EST II) will be responsible for traveling to job sites using company- provided vehicles. The work environments at these job sites frequently lack climate control systems, resulting in varying temperatures that may be less than optimal for comfort. This role involves direct contact with high-end audio-visual equipment, lighting systems, computers, and various electrical components. While performing job duties, the employee will be regularly engaged in activities such as sitting, standing, looking down or up, bending, twisting, color perception, hearing, walking, using hands for fine motor tasks, and reaching with hands and arms. The ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds is required. The job may also entail working at heights using ladders, and exposure to temperature extremes in the workplace environment. These physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to effectively carry out the essential functions of the position.
