A Lead Technician at One-Touch Automation is responsible for the day-to-day progress and efficiency of all assigned projects. You have every detail in your sight at all times, with an equal eye on the end goal and overall picture of success. You should also know how to independently execute against the to-do list to run point on all technical details in order to achieve that success. Accurate documentation is a main component of your job, as is a clean and organized jobsite. Our Lead Technicians are out there setting the absolute highest standard of workmanship in the industry and know what One-Touch Automation demands when it comes to excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager and supervise assigned projects
Correct, revise, and maintain current engineering documents
Communicate with customer, customer’s agents, general contractor, and/or other trade contractors to ensure that all necessary information is communicated to the Project Manager to support favorable project completion
Check drawings, specifications, and documents, for accuracy
Review project requirements with field staff
Manage jobsite cleanliness, supervise tech staff’s use of company materials, and be responsible for minimizing material waste during installation (wire, brackets, misc. materials)
Closely supervise wire runs during pre-wire to ensure correct lengths and accuracy to engineering’s specifications
Maintain records of all deliveries
Maintain communication with the Project Manager to assure he is up-to-date on the project and involved with any system design related changes and/or client requests for changes
Keep supervisors timely informed of all critical project related issues
Prepare for and attend jobsite and office meetings as required
Maintain excellent customer relations
Daily field supervision of assigned Technicians
Train assigned Technicians as needed
Various advanced level field work
Supply your own tools, including wire strippers, wire cutters, low voltage meter, tool case, and other standard tools required for the job
