Proficient in all aspects of low-voltage systems and integration.
Directly involved in the assembly of engineered systems and the connections of system components.
Provide completed system documentation information and any changes to the original system design.
Configure and calibrate components according to system engineering specifications.
Ensure that all relevant connections are clearly and accurately labeled.
Work directly with the Programmer to provide system functionality test results and any needed program modifications.
Communicate with the Purchasing department and provide information pertaining to any RMAs that have been started.
Be actively involved with the Purchasing department in RMA processes until completed.
Verify all wire terminations.
Verify that all used system wires are accurately labeled on both ends.
Verify that any relevant wires to be used in the future are clearly and accurately labeled on both ends.
Assist the Installation team as needed, within reason. This includes basic tasks such as heavy lifting & assisting, termination of wiring, and installation of equipment to meet deadlines. This will not include site clean-up, crawling in crawl spaces or attics, digging & trench work, or ladder & rooftop work.
Willing to assist or train less-experienced team members when needed.
Provide feedback to Engineering and Sales departments upon project completion regarding equipment integrations, functionality, and performance.
Make suggestions to Engineering and Sales departments on products or approaches that may yield better results on future projects.
