We currently have an opening for a Regional Sales Manager. A full-time role, working remotely, covering an area primarily focussed along the M4 corridor, as well as West and North London. Being located in this region would be highly advantageous.
The primary focus of this position is the development and management of sales of the Rako wired and wireless lighting control products. This position will be responsible for driving revenue through business planning and customer/end user development, but will also require close collaboration with the sales management, marketing and product development departments.
• Responsible for managing sales to Audio Visual dealers, Electrical Contractors and Specification sales. • Must be self-motivated and able to independently manage various activities with minimal supervision. • Support regional and international trade shows as needed. • Work with the other Sales Managers and marketing personnel across the UK.
• Good technical understanding of electrical principles. • Experience working with architects, specifiers, contractors and distributors. • A lighting controls background is not essential, but would prove beneficial. • Computer skills – A good grasp on modern IT technologies including, but not exclusive to Google Workspace or Microsoft Office. • Excellent command of English language (verbal and written). • Demonstrate history of key account sales/business development success. • Knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics, basic market research, product demonstration and sales techniques. • A full UK driving licence
